The food and service were top notch. Highly recommend their calamari, seared tuna and the age beef tagliata. They flavor profiles were elegant and well balanced. The Sangria was one of the best I experienced on this trip to Barcelona

Excellent place in the heart of the city. The dishes have that taste you expect from a Lokal authentic Barcelona place, we loved everything. Zeib, who served us, helped us enjoy even more a lovely dinner.

I went to Lokal Bar with my family on Christmas Day for dinner. I ate the guacamole with chips. It was very good. We had the meat platter and it was yummy. The people were very nice. I liked it. I want to go again.

We had an incredible evening at LOKAL BAR Barcelona. One of the owners spent time chatting with us and made us feel genuinely welcome, and the whole team was equally warm, attentive and professional. The food was outstanding – all the tapas we tried were delicious, and the beef in particular was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, the kind of place where you want to linger over one more drink and another shared plate. LOKAL BAR quickly became one of those spots you want to recommend to friends visiting Barcelona, and we will definitely be back.

Everything in this restaurant was delicious, and the drinks were great as well. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely. After we finished our meal, I accidentally left something behind, and the staff literally ran after me for two blocks to return it. Truly grateful for their kindness. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVED this restaurant! The owner was incredibly kind, our waiter was amazing, and the food was on another level. Everything tasted extremely fresh and the ingredients were clearly top quality. We had the beef tagliata, the pear salad, and sangria and I can truly say all of them were outstanding. Truly a top-tier experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon Lokal while walking around the neighborhood looking for lunch spots. The staff was extremely friendly and the ambiance is excellent, but the food… the food is truly outstanding. We enjoyed it so much that we made a reservation to return for dinner the same evening (do make a reservation as it is often quite busy). The second trip was even better than the first. Every dish we ordered was amazing and the staff (notably Zaid) was equally attentive and friendly. The oxtail and croquettes were our favorite dishes. I highly recommend Lokal and look forward to returning whenever we are back in the city. It is truly a standout in a city with a very high bar for food quality. Fantastic!

Amazing place! We had a wonderful experience at this Spanish restaurant — the food is authentic and full of flavor, from the tapas to the main dishes. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for a great evening out. A special shout-out to our waiter Zeip, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling. He gave us excellent recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Highly recommend! 💯

We have been traveling as a family through Spain, Portugal, and France for over 20 days, and during this time we’ve dined at many restaurants rated 4.5 stars and above. This restaurant, however, delivered the best overall dining experience we’ve had so far. The service was exceptionally attentive and intuitive. At one point my fork accidentally fell on the floor, and before I even realized it, a staff member quietly appeared from behind and handed me a clean one. That level of awareness is rare and impressive. The pacing of the dishes was also perfectly timed—relaxed yet efficient. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. I loved the crispy oxtail, full of flavor and beautifully cooked. Our younger son said he had the best Mexican burger he’s ever eaten, while our older son really enjoyed the pork knuckle. The black rice dish truly stood out as well—the freshness of the seafood was unmistakable. Overall, every main dish was executed at a very high level. Highly recommended 👍
